PLAST Milan 2026: Electrifying the Audience
At Plast 2026, held at Fiera Milano from 9 to 12 June, the company made its presence felt at Hall 22, Booth A131–B136 with a statement that got the industry’s attention. They presented the all-electric UCS 14.ED continuous extrusion shuttle blow moulding machine a compact double-station system combining energy-efficient drive technology, Industry 4.0 connectivity, integrated machine vision, and quality control solutions for HDPE container production. Alongside the machine, they introduced a newly developed integrated machine vision system with multiple high-definition cameras installed inside the machine enclosure, allowing operators and service engineers to monitor the production process and machine operation remotely in real time, improving diagnostics, shortening response times, and strengthening after-sales technical support. Also on show was a new container leak-testing unit connected directly to the machine, representing the beginning of a new family of integrated quality-assurance solutions. For manufacturers moving toward circular production, they exhibited a 70 mm diameter, 30 L/D extruder designed to process up to 100 percent post-consumer recycled material, equipped with an advanced induction heating system for improved thermal efficiency and precise temperature control.
