YIZUMI India Plant Surpasses 4,500 Machines Delivered
YIZUMI officially opens its Technical Service Center in Pune, India. Meanwhile, cumulative deliveries of injection molding machines from its India Gujarat Factory have surpassed 4,500 units. The increase from 3,500 to 4,500 machines took just 9 months, highlighting the strong market recognition of YIZUMI’s long-term localization efforts in India.
“India plays a key role in YIZUMI‘s global strategy,” says Ms. Karen Yu, Executive Deputy General Manager of YIZUMI International Business Division, “True globalization is not about exporting products. It’s about growing together with global markets.”
The Pune Technical Center integrates product display, process testing, mold trials, operator training, fault simulation and spare parts warehousing into a comprehensive local service hub. It is designed to address two of customers’ key concerns: fast on-site service response and local mold trial capabilities.
The center delivers a comprehensive local support system across three key areas:
Facilities: Dedicated areas for machine demonstration, mold trials, operator training and spare parts storage provide localized process validation and systematic technical training.
Team: A professional team covering management, sales, technical service and administration ensures fast response and reliable customer support.
Management: Integrated digital systems improve order processing and spare parts coordination, enabling greater operational efficiency.
“Establishing the Technical Center in Pune brings our service network closer to customers,” says Mr. Wilman Zhou, Regional Director for Asia Region, YIZUMI International Business Division. “It turns our service commitment into a local presence and marks an important step in YIZUMI’s transformation from an equipment exporter to a local service provider.”
YIZUMI’s growth in India has been driven by continuous investment in localization. The acquisition of HPM’s intellectual property in 2011 laid the foundation for its dual-brand strategy. Local production began in a leased facility in 2017, followed by the commissioning of the first phase of its Gujarat manufacturing base in October 2022.
The company’s installed base in India surpassed 1,000 machines in 2021, reached 3,500 in 2025, and exceeded 4,500 in July 2026. These milestones reflect the market’s growing confidence in YIZUMI’s products and localized operations.
The growth has been supported by both strong products and local services. YIZUMI offers a broad portfolio, including three-platen, high-speed and two-platen injection molding machines, serving industries such as automotive, home appliances, medical and packaging. Meanwhile, its local team, spare parts support and application services provide customers with responsive, end-to-end support.
At the customer appreciation dinner, Ms. Karen Yu says, “YIZUMI is a global company with deep expertise in advanced molding equipment. In 2008, I sold YIZUMI’s first die casting machine in India. At that time, many customers had never even heard of YIZUMI, yet they chose to place their trust in a different kind of Made in China.”
