Spanning fourteen companies across five countries and regions, this initiative—part of Sony and Mitsubishi Corporation’s “Creating NEW from reNEWable materials” project—introduces a traceable and verifiable supply chain model that accelerates the transition away from virgin fossil based plastics.
As a global leader in advanced materials—including bio based plastics—CHIMEI plays a pivotal role in this collaborative ecosystem by supplying renewable polycarbonate (PC) produced through a certified mass balance approach.
