K 2022 addresses megatrends of our time
From October 19th to 26th, 2022, the world’s leading trade fair for the plastics industry, the K in Düsseldorf, will once again open its doors to visitors from all over the world. The K fair looks back on a great 70-year success story.
The K 2022 is once again the international “showcase” in which many innovations relating to the topics of plastics machinery, plastics production and plastics processing are presented.
The K 2022 addresses three megatrends of our time: climate protection, circular economy and digitization. The interest in the K 2022 was huge in advance.
It is noticeable that many industry companies are now resolutely moving in the direction of more sustainability and are sometimes pursuing very innovative approaches. The plastics industry in Germany has started the joint initiative “Your Plastics” and offers a unique information portal that presents the plastics industry‘s answers in a coherent way e.g. The German Association of Plastics Converters (GKV) and its member associations will be present during the trade fair from October 19th to 26th, 2022 in Hall 8a, booth F11-1, and as part of the brand “Your Plastics” will offer a contact point for networking and information about the plastics processing industry.
During K 2022, the plastics industry also has the opportunity to discuss its answers to future questions from the younger generation. The transformation to a circular economy, the supply of raw materials and energy, a shortage of skilled workers and the perception of the material are the main challenges for the plastics processing industry. And these topics are of course also in the focus of the K fair 2022. The program for young visitors at the K 2022, the initiative “kai”, offers again bundled information for choolchildren, trainees and students at the K 2022.
For the plastics industry, the K in Düsseldorf is offering another great opportunity for personal contacts with the plastics community from many countries. The international atmosphere makes the K an outstanding event.
