Think Plastic Brazil Takes Part In The Inspired Home Show, In Chicago, With A Group Of 19 Companies

Think Plastic Brazil, a comprehensive initiative aimed at the internationalization of the plastic-converted products sector, is being executed through a collaboration between ApexBrasil (the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and INP (the Brazilian Plastics Institute). This initiative will take place in Chicago, United States, in March, where a delegation of 19 Brazilian companies will showcase their products at The Inspired Home Show, promoting the international presence of the converted plastics sector. This exhibition is recognized as one of the premier global events in the housewares and utilities industry, drawing thousands of exhibitors and attendees from various countries. It serves as a distinctive platform for unveiling products, trends, and innovations across multiple categories, including housewares, decoration, electronics, stationery, childcare, and home organization. The 2025 edition will place a particular emphasis on sustainability, home technology, and lifestyle. Leading companies in the market will converge to present their solutions tailored to the modern consumer. Additionally, The Inspired Home Show will host lectures, panels, and workshops led by industry experts, addressing current market demands. This fair holds significant importance in our industry’s calendar, serving as an exceptional platform for companies aiming to enhance their global presence, broaden their network of contacts, and finalize international agreements. The participation of Brazilian producers and suppliers adds considerable value, as it underscores the capabilities of our industry, which possesses substantial potential to compete in and penetrate new markets, states Carlos Moreira, Executive Director of the Brazilian Plastic Institute and CPO of Think Plastic Brazil. At the fair, the Brazilian pavilion will showcase Color Trend 2025, themed “The Truth of the Dream,” curated by the esteemed architect Gabriela de Matos. Attendees will also find a QR Code for accessing the Yearbook 2024, a digital catalog featuring product launches and innovations from over 250 Brazilian companies. Additionally, this venue will host the IV World Plastic Connection Summit, the premier Brazilian event with an international focus on the converted plastics sector. Scheduled to take place in Brazil from April 8 to 10, the summit will revolve around the theme “Converted plastic from Brazil: coloring the world with design, innovation, and sustainability.” This hybrid event, which is free and accessible online, will feature distinguished speakers and will unveil Color Trend 2026, authored by Marcelo Rosenbaum. Registration for the event is currently open, but spaces are limited.

In the North and South pavilions, the Think Plastic Brazil Collective Stand showcases the brands Di Solle Cutelaria, Floridis & Verdi, Indústria Bandeirante, Jaguar Plásticos, Kapazi Mats & Flooring, Kos Acrílicos, Mello Aluminum, Nitron, Nutriplan, Plasnew, Plasútil, Plasvale, Sanremo S/A, São Bernardo, Soprano, and Termolar. Additionally, the companies Alklin, Bettanin, and MTA are participating with their own stands, receiving support from ApexBrasil and Think Plastic Brazil.

Alklin: The Alklin brand is owned by Schwanke Industrial, which, with over 70 years of history, is a leader in the cleaning cloth category in Brazil, with 17.2% of the Self-Service and Cash & Carry Retail market. Located in Santa Catarina, in the South of Brazil, it has two manufacturing plants, one in Blumenau, the city where it is headquartered, and the other in Penha. In addition to operating in the cloth category, the company works with the following product categories: sponges, brooms, squeegees/mops and housewares (brushes, dustpans, buckets, plungers, door seals, clotheslines and rugs).

Bettanin: Bettanin’s brands are recognized as leaders in Brazil, serving as a benchmark in the broom and sponge sectors. The company produces over 330 million items annually, which include brooms, mops, sponges, dustpans, cloths, squeegees, garbage bags, and various other products designed to enhance daily life. Bettanin boasts the highest export volume to Latin America and maintains operations in Central America, North America, and Europe, reaching over 40 countries. The company has established factories, distribution centers, and sales offices across three Brazilian states: Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo, and Pernambuco. Currently, Bettanin occupies a built area of 82,000 m², with a storage capacity for 60,000 pallets and employs more than 3,000 individuals.

Dedication to quality and customer satisfaction drives the company to continually innovate and expand its product offering. Indústria Bandeirante serves the diverse needs of customers, from large industrial companies to small retail businesses.

As a prominent manufacturer of plastic products in Brazil with more than 40 years of experience, Jaguar Plásticos has received numerous awards and international recognition for its dedication to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.

For more than three decades, MTA has conducted its business with integrity and dedication in the housewares industry, continually investing in innovative technologies and practices to create products that stand out in the global market.

Plasnew: Plasnew boasts 27 years of experience, establishing a legacy of commitment and innovation within the housewares sector. Thanks to the considerable effort and entrepreneurial vision of its founder, the company is now recognized as one of the foremost leaders in Brazil in its respective markets.

Plasútil: Founded in Bauru, São Paulo, Plasútil is one of the largest manufacturers of plastic products for the home in Brazil. With 38 years of experience, the company stands out for its innovation, quality and commitment to sustainability. Plasvale: Making people’s daily lives easier is Plasvale’s mission, which has been working with love in the creation, quality, sustainability and technology of its products since 1977. All Plasvale products are free of any toxic substances – in fact, the company is BPA FREE – and meet the highest quality standards, being tested to offer the best possible performance and ensure customer and consumer satisfaction.

Sanremo: Strategically located in the Mercosur region, Sanremo has a production capacity of 5 million items per month. Its portfolio includes items for the kitchen, organization, laundry and cleaning, pets, baby, gardening and thermal items, totaling approximately 1,000 SKUs. São Bernardo: The plastic utensils produced by the company are now available in numerous countries, ranging from nearby Argentina to far-off Australia, consistently achieving success. This accomplishment stems from five decades of expertise and ongoing enhancements in the manufacturing processes of São Bernardo, a family-owned business established in 1959 that initially focused on the production of tools and steel components, including shelves and racks. Currently, the company operates a state-of-the-art industrial facility located in Itaquaquecetuba/SP, which holds ISO 9001 certification.
