Regloplas AG, internationally leading manufacturer of temperature control units for the processing industry reported a healthy statement of accounts last year and a steady increase in demand for its products. For this reason, various departments such as production and logistics are now facing a state of emergency in terms of lack of space.
For Regloplas AG to continue to compete on the world market, the company site requires expansion as soon as possible. The planned new building will provide 6 storeys, each with a floor space measuring 2500 m2. The construction project scores points on energy efficiency and sustainability with more environmentally-friendly process design. The plan is to use the entire roof area for photovoltaics to produce as much of the process energy consumption as possible in house.
Regloplas employees can expect a stunning, modern and open working environment. The integration of digitalised processes will achieve greater process efficiency. The goal of a state-of-the-art Smart Factory is a reality.
With the ground-breaking ceremony, the management is setting a clear intent, even in Corona times, to continue to pursue its plans for the future. We will leave our current site on the Flurhofstrasse in favour of a larger and completely reconceived factory on the Spühlstrasse in St Gallen. Building work has already begun. Completion of the final construction phase is planned for the start of 2022.
