Fibox Names Tiina Nygård Head of Plastic Mechanics Operations
Nygård brings 25 years of supply chain and operational transformation experience to strengthen Fibox’s plastic mechanics business as manufacturers place renewed focus on resilient supply chains, production visibility, and customer-specific industrial components.
Fibox, a Finnish manufacturer of protective enclosures, cabinets, and customer-specific plastic components for demanding industrial environments, has appointed Tiina Nygård as CEO of its plastic mechanics business. The appointment adds operational and supply chain leadership to a global industrial supplier that reported €113 million in 2025 revenue and operates in 22 countries. Nygård will lead a business that provides customer-specific injection molding solutions for industrial customers while supporting Fibox’s own enclosures and systems divisions.

Fibox’s plastic mechanics business plays a key role in the company’s wider industrial offering. Based in Lempäälä, the business provides customer-specific plastic components and injection molding solutions, serving both external industrial customers and Fibox’s internal enclosures and systems divisions. The appointment comes as manufacturers face growing pressure to maintain reliable local production capacity, improve supply-chain visibility, and secure access to specialized industrial components.
Fibox sees the business as an important part of its next phase of development as customers place greater emphasis on reliable supply, operational efficiency, and specialized industrial manufacturing.
“Tiina brings exactly the kind of operational and supply chain leadership this business needs as we continue strengthening our customer-specific manufacturing capabilities,” said Markus Hettig, CEO of Fibox’s enclosures business. “The plastic mechanics business serves both external customers and Fibox’s own divisions, so its success depends on reliability, visibility, and strong execution across the full supply chain.”
Nygård brings 25 years of experience in global supply chain leadership, operational development, and industrial transformation. Before joining Fibox, she served as Chief Supply Chain Officer at Tammer Brands, where she led a supply chain organization of approximately 120 people across sales and operations planning, customer service, operational purchasing, logistics, and warehousing. She has also held senior supply chain and process development roles at Valmet, Konecranes, and Nokia, giving her deep experience in building more efficient, visible, and scalable industrial operations.
“Fibox’s plastic mechanics business connects customer-specific manufacturing with reliable supply chain performance and practical support for both industrial customers and Fibox’s own divisions,” said Tiina Nygård, CEO of Fibox’s plastic mechanics business. “My focus will be on strengthening the structures, processes, and ways of working that help us serve customers reliably, improve visibility, and develop the business for its next phase.”
The appointment also reflects Fibox’s long-term focus on strengthening the industrial businesses that support its wider international operations. Founded in Finland in 1991, Fibox operates globally through its own subsidiaries and serves customers across enclosures, cabinet solutions, plastic mechanics, injection molding, and contract manufacturing.
“As a family-owned company, Fibox has always developed its businesses with a long-term view. Our plastic mechanics business plays an important role in serving both our direct plastic mechanics customers and our own enclosure business, and Tiina brings the experience needed to strengthen that role further,” said Tapani Niemi, Chairman of the Board at Fibox. “Her background in supply chain development and operational transformation fits well with the next phase of the business.”
With Nygård at the helm, Fibox aims to strengthen its plastic mechanics business into a trusted manufacturing partner for industrial customers, while also serving the company’s wider enclosures and systems portfolio.
