Asahi Photoproducts Returns to EskoWorld with Solutions to Drive Increased Sustainability for Flexographic Operations
At EskoWorld 2023, Asahi Photoproducts Will Feature the CrystalCleanConnect automated solution for press-ready plates, AWP-DEW and AWP CleanFlat Environmentally Sound CleanPrint solutions.
Asahi Photoproducts, a pioneer in flexographic photopolymer plate development, today reported it will be attending EskoWorld 2023, scheduled for 23-25 May at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando FL. Asahi will be located in the exhibit center at the event and its experts will be on site to explain the Asahi sustainability strategy and its achievement of Carbon Neutral certification for AWP plates. Experts will also be available to discuss how the breakthrough CrystalCleanConnect platemaking solution can revolutionize flexo operations. CrystalCleanConnect, a joint development between Asahi, Esko and Kongsberg, delivers press ready plates, from imaging of raw material through cutting on an integrated Kongsberg table. CrystalCleanConnect reduces the platemaking steps from 12 to 1, reduces the need for operator intervention, and significantly reduces waste, making it the most sustainable platemaking solution on the planet.
Asahi experts on site will include Gene Martin, agent for Asahi Photoproducts USA, Akihiro Kato, Managing Executive and Senior General Manager for the Photoproducts Division, and Yusuke Kaneko Assistant Manager.

The name CrystalCleanConnect is derived from Esko´s Crystal product range, Asahi´s CleanPrint product range, and the Connection to subsequent devices such as the Kongsberg cutting table in the print production workflow.
